Overview
Nestled between the Sierra Madre mountains and the Pacific Ocean, Siari—an exceptional Ritz-Carlton Reserve—is one of Mexico’s last true sanctuaries. Spread across 920 acres with 4.3 miles of golden-sand beach, it’s a rare estate where wild nature and modern comfort blend seamlessly. Indigenous artistry shapes the resort’s design, while cuisine honors Mexico’s rich heritage and wellness journeys draw from the Huichol community’s sacred bond with the sea. Guests can immerse themselves in evergreen jungles, mangroves, and expansive ocean views, retreating to accommodations that respect both privacy and place. Just a scenic, jungle-lined drive from Puerto Vallarta International Airport, Siari feels worlds away yet remains effortlessly accessible.

Mexico's Riviera Nayarit Just Got a New Ritz-Carlton Reserve Resort
First In: Siari Riviera Nayarit, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, Hotel Review
Nestled in the thick jungle, my suite loomed over the edge of a cliff, hovering above the region’s largest swimmable beach. Even my shower, with floor-to-ceiling glass windows, faced the landscape. One afternoon, as I floated in my private plunge pool, I am reminded of something Segura said: “The real luxury here is nature. It really hugs you.”
Destination wedding: what it is and where in Mexico can you do them
While some people choose to get married in traditional places for their family history, others prefer to organize a destination wedding that stages that pivotal moment in their love life with the scenery that has topped their list of favorite places in the world forever.
An iconic venue away from home should not have an international location with no meaning to your relationship, or represent a titanic effort so that your guests can accompany them. The location of your destination wedding can be within your own country and still envelop your marriage in a magical atmosphere.
If you and your partner are faithful lovers of Mexican nature and culture, there is a place in the west of the country made to measure for you to enjoy a nuptials where love, nature, culture and spirit merge in complete harmony.

Inside the Ritz-Carlton Reserve Siari on Mexico's Emerald Coast
The Ritz-Carlton just opened the doors to its Siari locale this week, a retreat that’s surrounded by lush jungle and Pacific views in Riviera Nayarit’s Emerald Coast. The property marks the ninth entrant into the hotelier’s Reserve portfolio that’s embedded in wellness and connection to local traditions, inviting its guests to slow down and take in nature.
And you get to experience all the flora and aquatic beauty the minute you step onto the private 920-acre expanse that Siari calls home. (That wilderness is reflected in the property’s name, too, which translates to the Uto-Aztecan word for “green.”) The Ritz-Carlton tapped Bernardi + Peschard Arquitectura, a Mexico City–based firm, to mold the hotel and its 91 rooms right into its landscape. Looming over the edge of a cliff, Siari includes details such as locally quarried stones, native woods, and handwoven textures that are an homage to Nayarit’s indigenous people, as well as an open-air design that lets you take in your surroundings from every angle.
Vogue- Jane and Owen Gerber celebrated their wedding on Mexico Riviera Nayarit
Their wedding was held nearly two years later on April 18, 2026, in Nayarit, Mexico, at Siari, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, and Nauka, the private club community next door. “I had visited Nauka years before when my parents first decided to buy a property there,” Owen explains. “When Jane and I first started planning, the hotel was under construction, but we visited together anyway a few months after our engagement, and Jane fell in love with it too.”
The property felt intimate and secluded, tucked into a cove with a long stretch of beach and surrounded by the mountains and jungle. “Beyond how breathtaking it was, the Siari and Nauka teams were so warm and genuinely excited to host our wedding,” Jane remembers. “Even though there was still a lot to finish on the property, once the timelines started to come together, it was the easiest decision.”
